ABC (Active Body Control) system
Active Body Control is an active body level control system. ABC provides an additional increase in comfort and safety while driving by automatically adjusting the stiffness of the suspension depending on driving style and road profile.
The Active Body Control system consists of the following structural elements:
- the control unit that monitors the level of the body while driving, provides control of all suspension bodies;
- body acceleration sensors are able to detect any irregularities on the road and send a signal in digital form to the control unit of the mechanism;
- body level sensors are directly responsible for leveling the vehicle during loading;
- electrohydraulic elements of the ABC system are the double-circuit pump with the damping electric valve, active hydraulic shock-absorbers, with the built-in sensors of the course of plungers, electrohydraulic valves, hydraulic accumulators which are responsible for preservation of hydraulic energy during movement.

Pump
The pump is installed on a car with a hydraulic suspension bracket (ABC) “Active Body Control” of two contour. Having one common drive and a shaft all the same these are two pumps, one of them works on system GUR (the power steering), another on a hydraulic suspension bracket (ABC) “Active Body Control”.
The most common pump failures: Leak through sealing joints (seals, rings). This can be caused by both natural wear and temporary – loss of elasticity.
Another mechanical wear of the swinging part caused by fluid loss due to system leakage leads to the formation of burrs.

Valve unit
The valve block controls the supply of fluid to the rack; adds or reduces the amount of fluid thereby making driving more comfortable.

The shock absorbers perform direct work to increase and decrease the car’s ground clearance and driving comfort.
